إثر اغتيال الصحفية الفلسطينية شيرين أبو عاقلة ، أدان المكتب التنفيذي الوطني
لإتحاد الشغل عملية الاغتيال الجبانة وأكّد في بيان يوم الخميس أنّها جريمة تثبت من جديد الطابع الإرهابي للكيان المحتلّ وهي ليست إلاّ حلقة من سلسلة الإرهاب الصهيوني المنظّم التي اعتمدت الإعدام الممنهج لكلّ ما هو فلسطيني: الإنسان والأرض والهوية.
و اعتبر البيان أنّ اغتيال شيرين أبو عاقلة يعبر عن حقيقة وجوهر الفكر الصهيوني الإرهابي المعادي للحقيقة والحرية والإنسانية إذ أنّ قنص الشهيدة يستهدف محاولة طمس كلّ صوت يعرّي طبيعة الكيان الغاصب ويمنع الإعلام من نقل الحقائق إلى العالم.
كما أدان البيان صمت المجتمع الدولي، إذ عرّت عملية الاغتيال المعايير المزدوجة إزاء الحقّ الفلسطيني وتكشف زيف الديمقراطية الإمبريالية المتوحّشة وسعيها في أغلب الأحيان إلى محاولة احتواء بشاعة المشهد الإجرامي المتكرّر للعدوّ وعربدة أداة إرهابه في القرى والمدن الفلسطينية.
و ندد بصمت الحكّام العرب وخاصّة المطبّعين مع الكيان المحتلّ أمام هذه الجريمة النكراء ويدين مواصلة بعض وسائل الإعلام ممارسة أشكال التطبيع الإعلامي مع هذا الإرهاب وكيانه الغاصب وتبريره.
و دعا البيان إلى حملة دولية وخاصّة بين أحرار العالم للدفع من أجل فضح الصهاينة ومحاصرتهم وعزلهم دوليا ومحاسبتهم على ما يقترفونه من جرائم ضدّ الإنسانية.
